Dr Cameron Seaman
Cameron Seaman is a paediatric cardiologist with subspecialty training in interventional cardiology. He graduated medicine at Monash University, Melbourne and completed training in paediatric cardiology at The Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne.
Cameron pursued a fellowship at the University of Alberta and Stollery Children’s Hospital, Edmonton, Canada, with specific training in paediatric and adult congenital cardiac catheterisation. He held positions as interventional cardiologist and director of paediatric cardiac catheterisation at the Stollery Children’s Hospital, the primary referral centre to patients within the Western Canadian Children’s Heart Network, and an academic appointment as Assistant Professor at the University of Alberta.
His specific interests include echocardiography in congenital heart disease and transcatheter interventions in children and adults with congenital heart disease including ASD and PDA closure, percutaneous valvuloplasty and transcatheter valve implantation.
Cameron is a consultant cardiologist at Perth Children’s Hospital and consults privately at Western Cardiology in Subiaco in all aspects of paediatric cardiology.
Dr Deane Yim
MBchB, FRACP, DCH.
Deane Yim graduated from the University of Otago Medical School, New Zealand, in 2002 and completed general paediatric training in 2008. She commenced paediatric cardiology training at Princess Margaret Hospital and completed general and advanced cardiology fellowship training at Bristol Hospital for Children, UK, Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne and most recently, SickKids Hospital in Toronto, Canada where she has worked as a consultant paediatric cardiologist since 2015.
Deane’s subspecialty interests are in non-invasive cardiac imaging, including advanced transthoracic and transoesophageal echocardiography and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging. Her research has been presented at international conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals. She has current clinical appointments at Princess Margaret Hospital and King Edward Memorial Hospital for general and fetal cardiology.
Deane consults privately at Western Cardiology in Subiaco, Mt Lawley and Joondalup in all aspects of paediatric and neonatal cardiology.
Dr Luigi D’Orsogna
MBBS, DRCOG, FRACP
Luigi D’Orsogna is a graduate of The University of Western Australia. He trained in paediatrics at the Children’s Hospital in Vancouver, Canada and Princess Margaret Hospital for Children (PMH) in Western Australia.
Thereafter, he completed a fellowship in Paediatric Cardiology at the Children’s Hospital in Boston and the Harvard Medical School where he developed a special interest in fetal cardiology and interventional cardiac catheterisation procedures for congenital heart disease.
Currently, he is a visiting consultant cardiologist to PMH and King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH), and is the director of fetal cardiology in the Maternal Fetal Medicine Service at KEMH.
Dr D’Orsogna consults in private practice at Western Cardiology for all aspects of general paediatric cardiology including congenital and acquired heart disease of childhood, arrhythmia and echocardiography.
